The ICAC2013 provides an exciting forum to discuss recent progress in advanced capacitors. The conference focuses on  the  following themes;

1. Basic science, advanced technologies and application of all types of capacitors, i.e., ceramic, film, aluminum electrolytic, tantalum, electric double-layer, electrochemical redox (pseudo), asymmetric, hybrid, lithium-ion capacitors, etc.



2. Capacitor performances for power uses such as electric vehicles and energy back-up (storage) application.



3. Materials for advanced capacitors (e.g., carbonaceous materials, polymers, metal oxides, composites), and new concept for fabricating high performance energy and power storage devices.



Program



The technical program will include plenary, invited, contributed, young investigator oral, and poster presentations. Submitted papers will be reviewed and selected as an oral or poster presentation by the committee.



Language



The official language is English.



Presentation



1. Oral presentation

The oral presentation will be  40 min for PLENARY LECTURES, 20 min for INVITED TALKs and contributed oral  presentations, and 15 min for YOUNG INVESTIGATOR's presentations, including discussion time.  Presenters are requested to speak within the allotted time. An LCD projector will be provided.  Authors are required to provide their own laptop computers for the LCD presentations. Presenters who wish  to use equipment other than LCD (e.g. OHP) must request this to the secretary in advance.



Please save your presentation data to USB flash drive for backup, and bring it with you.



2. Poster presentations

To locate your assigned poster board on the day of your presentation, look for the board marked with your paper number.

Please carefully review the information below to ensure that you have not missed any important information preparing your poster presentation for the conference:

The size of poster board is 90 cm (W) by 210 cm (H).
 

May 28, 2013 / 12:00...........Poster set up
May 28, 2013 / 18:00...........Poster session
May 30, 2013 / Lunch time...Poster shoud be taken down
 

Presenters are fully responsible for the set up & take down of posters. Posters left after 3 p.m. May 30 will be discarded.
 

Presenters must be present during the discussion time.
 

Student Poster Awards will be selected from posters given by student. The ceremony for awards will be held in the Closing Adress (May 30, 2013 / 16:00~).



Special Issue of Electrochemistry (Journal)

​

"Electrochemistry (Journal)" is a peer-revewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all area of electrochemistry. Special issue "Advanced Capacitor Technologies for Energy Innovation" will be published in this journal. Participants are welcome to submit any original part of their presentation in ICAC2013.
