The organizing committee will provide "Young Investigator Award", "Student Poster Award".
Young Investigator Award
The ICAC2013 organizing committee will present the " Young Investigator Award" to outstanding young researchers during the ICAC2013. This award encourages developing young scientists to pursue careers in the capacitor research.
1. Candidate Eligibility
(1) Applicant is favorably at and under the age of 40. (This shall not apply when few applicants submit papers.)
(2) Applicant should be a participant who presents a paper in "Young Investigator Session" that will be held on May 29, 2013.
(3) If more than two applicants are in one paper, only one will be nominated.
2. Procedure
(1) Applicant should check an application box in the online abstract submission system.
(2) The ICAC2013 will send an application form.
(3) Applicant should submit the application form to the ICAC2013 secretariat.
Student Poster Award
The ICAC2013 organizing committee will accept applications for the "Student Poster Award" competition. This award recognizes undergraduate or graduate poster presentations characterized by excellence in research, clarity in presentation, and personal knowledge in a discussion with the judges at the ICAC2013.
1. Candidate Eligibility
(1) Applicant must be a full-time student (undergraduate or graduate) who is not also a full-time employee in industry, government, or academia.
(2) Applicant should be a participant who presents a paper in "Poster Session" that will be held on May 28, 2013.
2. Procedure
(1) Applicant should check an application box for "Student Poster Award" in the online abstract submission system.
(2) Applicant will be requested to send a copy of the identification card or something to verify an applicant's identity.
Grants
January 16, 2012
The "Student Grant" of 30,000 JPY will be awarded to selected student presenting a paper (oral or poster). Only one student per laboratory will be chosen. Applicants should send an recommendation to the secretariat of the ICAC2013 by E-mail before Feb 28, 2013. Applicant will be requested to send a copy of the identification card or something to verify an applicant's identity.
